Quote: "Unforeseen consequences"
Ammonomicon Entry: This powerful electromagnetic particle accelerator originated from a sprawling research facility that was lost to an apocalypse that lasted less than thirty minutes. Said apocalypse lasted less than thirty minutes because of a mute hero who defied time and space using this very gun to kill the catalyst of the apocalypse. It shoots condensed particles of science, and can be charged up for even more raw science power.
It took almost fifty years before it was given a third version, much to the chagrin of the scientific community who were eagerly awaiting its arrival.
So, the basic idea for this gun is that it's the Tau Cannon/Gauss Gun from Half-Life 1, and acts just the same. Firing it without charging it shoots an orange-yellow beam that deals medium damage, doesn't pierce enemies, but bounces off of walls once. Firing a charged shot unleashes a white-hot beam of raw science power that deals extremely science high damage, pierces all enemies in its path, and bounces off of walls up to five times. The charged shot also gives the player significant recoil, kind of like the Alien Engine. Has 20 ammo per clip, and 400 ammo total. Charged shot empties the entire clip.
