***REQUEST*** H&K MK23 USSOCOM .45 "Military Offensive Pistol"

"why would anyone want MK23 if you have USP? it just USP upgrade" yes, it is, but it been improve to be better in anyway to be SOCOM grade pistol, here some stuff (thanks to Ian from Forgotten Weapons for this short and simple history)

"The H&K Mk 23 pistol was developed in the 1990s for the US Special Operations Command and US Navy. The goal was to produce an "offensive handgun" that could serve as a primary armament for a special forces operator as well as a backup arm. It was required to be no more than 12 inches long, fit a suppressor and aiming module with laser and illumination options in both visible and IR spectrum, have at least 10-round magazines, chamber .45 ACP (specifically a 185gr +P loading), and pass a 30,000 round endurance test. Only two companies were able to supply acceptable initial pistols; H&K and Colt. The Colt pistol failed to pass the 1st phase testing. H&K presented a gun based on the recently-developed USP design, was ultimately chosen as the project winner; adopted as the Mk 23 pistol in 1996. The testing this pistol went through during development is really quite remarkable."

it also call "Match Grade Pistol" (refers to quality firearm parts and ammunition that are suitable for a competitive match)

can be use with KAC Suppressor made with the gun, and also can use Military Grade gadget as LAM (Laser Aiming Module, which has been create before) to improve capability in combat, mostly in stealth mission

for in-game stats, i might suggest to be x2-x3 of USP stats with mostly improve of accuracy and damage

for me, i have personal Airsoft version of it, with correct KAC Suppressor and Incorrect LAM (it phase 2 LAM design) (for any mod maker willing to take a close look to the gun itself, i can provide you with gladly help by taking photo of each side of the gun, i would be proud to help you ^^ if you willing to make it

The most someone could done beside creating the model from scratch (which is a rare skill that this community doesnt have very much), is port an existing MK23 asset from other media.

Think there's one H3VR
But it have the phase 2 LAM gadget (the blocky one), while you want the final phase LAM..?

about from the scratch, it sound impossible and could be some incorrect parts, i think about porting some module same as you if in H3VR it ok for the model and attachments, if in other video game, i would like to suggest Sniper Ghost Warrior 3, they having great model and correct scale and stuff on the MK23 (except it has no marking on the gun, guess copyright, this i can help), i can think of, which is final phase, about the LAM module, it real life, it have rail adapter to use normal gadget, im just suggest about it, just it would be cool to have the correct thing to it xD, but also, as i read some military pages (idk which page is it) but mostly of SOCOM operators that use the gun sometime often using only Suppressor during the mission then having LAM mounting on (reason might be to blocky and big) (the one on final phase you see in VDO isn't the real final phase LAM, it made by Wilcox, and it ain't that difference then Phase 2, big bulky, just it can be disassembly into 3 pieces, Rail, Laser and Flashlight) (but you dont need to worry about the suppressor, it already one of the game stuff, if im correct, it name Champion Suppressor)

I dont know about ripping stuff from SGW...
Have to find someone who do have the gamefiles and know how to rip from it
Even me finding asset rip from SGW 3 is pure luck.

Best of luck to whoever wants to port it
Im happy with just the pseudo MK23 ingame; using the USP, Champion Suppressor and the custom attachment mod LAM gadget phase 2 :p

lol, i done that all the time, those 3 combine is just almost what i need, wish it have show on Add-on pistols someday
