Adds Winchester "Trench Gun" Model 1897 as Primary shotgun
Unlocks level: 50

It became clear to the US just how brutal trench warfare was, and how great the need was for a large amount of close-range firepower while fighting in a trench, after they had observed WW1. The Model 1897 Trench grade was an evolution of this idea. The pre-existing Winchester Model 1897 was modified by adding a perforated steel heat shield over the barrel which protected the user over-heated barrel and an adapter with bayonet lug for affixing an M1917 bayonet.

No optic sight support.
High damage, middle ground between R870 and Mosconi

Slam-firing capability is possible on BURST firemode using Custom Support mod.
Note that only single and burst firemode is usable. Full-auto firemode is glitchy on shotgun base.

Known Issue:
- The external hammer model doesn't get 'flipped' with the internal receiver when pumping.
- Full-auto mode is glitchy on shotgun base. Shotgun can change firemode for slamfiring ability.

Possible, I have a model that fits the shotgun, but no point in giving it one, without any unique effect.
Im planning to do a mod that will make any Bayonet attachmnet have some kind of increased melee damage for the player, whenever it's attached to a gun and used in-heist.
But no ETA.

I actually have the same idea, and have tried it just recently
With current RoF Trench Gun have, and allowing the weapon to have full-auto fire mode, it kinda feels like the gun is slam-firing
Just a matter of will I push the update xd

I have a suggestion on how to emulate Slam-Fire, Make the weapon automatic and set the RoF to the time it takes for the pump animation to play. That way, as soon as it's cocked it would fire, It wouldn't be perfect but it would be good enough.

Mod works ok, just like in your video, but the only complaint that i have is that this music sounds somewhat 2-3 times quiet than any other track from original game/other sound mods. Other than that, its good, wish you make more music from MRB, its a good game.

Body disappearing on wpn butt melee is only for a split second.. probably won't fix
I can't reproduce the barrel disappearing on equip on any FOV..

I found 2 bugs while using this mod , barrel disappearing on equip animation and body disappearing when using weapon butt, also i think Breaker's sounds would fit nicely with this gun

I'll see what can I do about that.. but its pretty low on the list..
Since this KF2 model have a bit of problem being ported, and the issue only shows in a split-second anim

Maybe leave the hammer cocked? It would generally prevent the clipping with the slide.

Would it be possible to have some pistols too ? I only found 1 custom primary pistol, a new one(s) would be great :-)
