Shortlink:
This is a mod for users of PD2Tools website. It currently allows players to import loadout files downloaded from the site into the game.

How to use:

  1. Create a loadout on http://pd2tools.com and download the JSON file.
  2. Move the JSON file to the mod's "db" folder.
  3. While in game, open the inventory page and click on the small saw icon in the rightmost box on the bottom center of the screen.
  4. Select the loadout you just created.
  5. ???
  6. Profit.
Notes:
  1. The mod only loads what is in the JSON file, therefore if you created a loadout with no skills the mod will leave your current equipped skill set untouched.
  2. Make sure you have empty weapon slots if you want the mod to craft the loadout weapons.
  3. If you wish to rename your loadout, choose a name shorter than 15 characters. This is the maximum length accepted by the game UI for skill sets.
  4. Do not rename your weapons if you plan to reuse them with a loadout. The mod checks for weapon names before crafting new weapons.
  5. You can keep as many loadouts as want, just import them whenever you need it.

v2.0:
  • Changed the mod name to reflect the site name change
  • Removed BeardLib dependency
  • The loadout list can now be scrolled
  • Less UI clutter: the icon is now displayed next to the profile boxes, rather than in a big box at the bottom of the first column.

@chrom[K]a: Sorry, it's been a long time since I last did anything about the mod. If you make a new one I'll include it in the next version.

@[Ca$h.it] Winston Wolfe: Yes, I'll look into this. I did this before they added continental coins so it is expected to skip this check. As for Infamy, I usually don't spend energy with it because players usually go V or beyond so dedicating time to something that is rarely used is kinda useless. I'll look it up regardless.

You should add a check for the player Infamy, because this mod allows me to import a loadout made for players who unlocked Infamy V even though I'm level 100. Also, the mod crafts weapons with their mods without deducting any Continental coins (if you do not own the mods) or money for the weapons.

Fixed my faulty BLT installation.
The UI no longer has issues (among several other things that are now fixed).
Sorry.

The next profile button overlaps with the Toolkit button for me.
This makes the toolkit menu come up every time I switch to the next profile from the inventory.

@Ohagi-Chan: It probably is possible, I've not looked it up yet. I'll put this on my todo list, thanks for the suggestion.

Is it possible to change the Profile name as well when you load a build?
If it is possible, it would be better if that was an option (default off), in case people didn't want it to happen, who knows?

In order to have optimal functionality after Update 107, make sure you select a different skill set to each of the profiles -- this way whenever you import a loadout using the mod it will fully replace the current profile.

@BorisMacro:
1) No for DLC content, the mod checks for content you own and, if not found, throws an error. The part/weapon ID is shown in the LUA log file. But it will equip incomplete perk decks.
2) If a weapon is of the same type as the loadout you are trying to import, and has the same name then it will be equipped -- even if it is not the one you created on the site. These are the 2 conditions that the mod checks to equip a weapon (or craft it if not found). If you want to use a weapon with a different name then that's not possible, you'll have to equip it manually after you import the loadout.

Thanks!

Great mod, I really like this feature! But I have 2 questions:
1) Does it equip perk decks non-completed or anything which requires a DLC you don't own?
2) Is there a way to make the mod automatically select a renamed weapon?
Thanks a lot for the mod by the way :P

@[Heister] Wolf: It should be working now. And yes, skins do work as normal -- the mod checks whether you own things before crafting weapons (if not you will see an error message).

Can you allow loadouts to be downloads with blanks in them?

07-29-2016, 09:02 PM
Nevermind

Does this work with skins? I have a couple of them that I like to use on my weapons.
