Ah yes, the Type 56-2, Type 56 itself was a Chiense copy of the famous Soviet AK-47, this model seems to be a modernized one though.

Type 56-2 mainly changed the stock from the original fixed one to the stock it have now, wasn't really largely equipped by PLA, since at the time, the newer Type 81 is already finished, with it using the stock of Type 56-2 as well.
